Just sold! Three bedrooms at the Chandler! 2308 at 450 E waterside

June 7th, 2009 · Uncategorized

I have showed this unit to a potential buyer, it is a great unit with south view to the lake and the park, the city, everything is new in it too. The asking price is $697,000, really reasonable for a three bedrooms unit in a brand new building. I am sure if I have the money, I will be very happy to buy this unit, it is 1,900 square feet, it will be perfect for our family, actually our space is OK, not very small, and if we want to build walls for our den, we could do it too! But after seeing so many new condos, I would like to live in a new place too, who does notJ

Unit 4006 and 4007 for sale at the Park Shore

June 7th, 2009 · Uncategorized

This is a rare opportunity to get a two bedrooms plus den and a one bedroom together, you could make it into a 4 bedrooms unit with great views to the new designed Lakeshore east park, the Chicago River, the new Aqua building, the trump tower, the lake shore drive, the grand park, the Buckingham fountain, the Monroe harbor, the beautiful lake, I can’t take my eyes out of the view yesterday when it is so blue, with the boats on it, you can also see the Columbia yacht club. The combined unit will give you 2,000 square feet, this is so nice. The combined listing price is $549,000 plus $289,000, that is $838,000, do not forget this price includes a parking space, plus if you could bargain it down a little, you spend $100,000 to remodel, then you would be able to get a three bedrooms unit or a four bedrooms unit. With the assessment is lower than $1,000 per month. Detailed information and pictures will be available upon request!

Margarita Party at the Park Shore!

June 7th, 2009 · Uncategorized

We are going to have a Margarita Party again this year, Elizabeth has a classmate whose name is Margarita, so last year when we mentioned there is a Margarita Party, she was very excited and then she noticed that Margarita is not even there. She was a little worried and asking about where she was and where is the cake for her, we had to tell her that this is an adult party not kids’ party.

If life gives you lemons, you make lemonade; but if life gives you limes, it’s time to make margaritas! It’s time to see our neighbors and make new friends! The party is going to be on Thursday, June 25th, 2009, 6-9pm in the club room on the first floor!

Roof top pool is going to be ready soon – 195 N Harbor Dr.

June 7th, 2009 · Uncategorized

Our pool is still under construction. The swimming pool will be filled and chemically balanced as soon as possible. We saw the notice from the building management mentioning that the work will be completed by June 10, 2009. We just need to weather to get nicer to so that we could jump into our pool again!

While I was showing around these days, I noticed that the pools in the new buildings are so shallow, not sure the reason for it. But they are all like 3 FT – 3FT, even the pool at the 340 Randolph, the size of the pool is 3.5FT – 3FT. I am not sure how people swim in there as they is really shallow for me!

S. Michigan Ave. Saturday morning brunch

June 7th, 2009 · Uncategorized

It’s Saturday morning, Elizabeth was very excited, she kept on mentioning that Saturday is her favorite day of the week, I am sure it is also most people’s favorite day. So I agreed with her, then I remembered that I have to come to sit at my open house from 12:00 – 2:00pm. If I could pick up a buyer, yes, it is worth it, but who knows. Eric has mentioned “Yolk”, we could do some walk and then enjoy a great brunch.

It took a little longer than we thought and the kids were fighting for the cookies as they are hungry, finally we made it to the Yolk, it has yellow sign outside, so interesting, it was 10:00am and we walked though the crowded hall way only to find out the wait is 45 minutes, so it must be a great place but the kids can’t wait that long, we ended up in Mei’s Kitchen next door. It has buffet too.

There are lots of fans from Honduras to come to watch the World Cup qualifier soccer game at the Soldier Field today. The couple sat next to our table was very friendly and chatted with us about how cute our girls are and what teams are going to play. They must think we live here and we do not even want to go to see the game, they had to fly here and go to the game.

There are a few choices for the brunch, the kids like the sausages, the fruits, the pancake, the waffle and the two cherrio boxes, they each had some juice too. Then when we looked outside, we noticed that the Shedd Aquarium is right out there. Since we got the membership in the winter, why not take them to go to see the fishes! The kids were so happy with this idea and they took their cherrio’s with them to go to pretend to feed the fishes!

Joan and Irving B Harris Theater for Music and Dance-205 E Randolph

June 5th, 2009 · Uncategorized

My friend is talking about this place today. We all know that they went through some construction recently, the good news is there are lots of ballet and performances coming this year, such as it is currently performing: Hubbard Street 2 will delight and engage audiences with an interactive family matinee program that features a mix of performance and experiential activities with the artists. The cost of the ticket is pretty cheap, just $5 per person, so it will be something fun to do for a Saturday afternoon.

Low priced two bedrooms at the HERITAGE – 130 N Garland Ct Unit 1006

May 17th, 2009 · Uncategorized

I can’t believe this price has dropped below $500,000, this split two bedrooms has around 1,336 square feet, the building was built in 2007, this is a great building right behind the City hall. It has great amenities too. I love the east facing units in this building, but with this price, this is not so bad, while we were doing search in 2006, we could not find anything less than $500,000 in this building. It has new kitchen, new bathrooms and wood floor. The listing price of this unit is $485,000. Sometimes I do wish that we have not bought our unit yet, since there are so many choices out there! This is not my listing!

May 17th, 2009 · Uncategorized

This is a two bedrooms unit has around 1,365 square feet, this is a spacious two bedrooms. This building’s name is JOFFREY TOWER, it used to have a Walgreen downstairs, I still remember that they had a sign saying that the store has been there for more than 100 years, so this is a great location. This is a new construction with the top of the line materials. There is a great benefit of this building is that it has large balconies, this is very seldom to see in downtown Chicago, in the heart of the city. There are currently less than 20 units left in the building, so act fast, take the advantage from the developers and contact me today to get more.
