S. Michigan Ave. Saturday morning brunch

It’s Saturday morning, Elizabeth was very excited, she kept on mentioning that Saturday is her favorite day of the week, I am sure it is also most people’s favorite day. So I agreed with her, then I remembered that I have to come to sit at my open house from 12:00 – 2:00pm. If I could pick up a buyer, yes, it is worth it, but who knows. Eric has mentioned “Yolk”, we could do some walk and then enjoy a great brunch.

It took a little longer than we thought and the kids were fighting for the cookies as they are hungry, finally we made it to the Yolk, it has yellow sign outside, so interesting, it was 10:00am and we walked though the crowded hall way only to find out the wait is 45 minutes, so it must be a great place but the kids can’t wait that long, we ended up in Mei’s Kitchen next door. It has buffet too.

There are lots of fans from Honduras to come to watch the World Cup qualifier soccer game at the Soldier Field today. The couple sat next to our table was very friendly and chatted with us about how cute our girls are and what teams are going to play. They must think we live here and we do not even want to go to see the game, they had to fly here and go to the game.

There are a few choices for the brunch, the kids like the sausages, the fruits, the pancake, the waffle and the two cherrio boxes, they each had some juice too. Then when we looked outside, we noticed that the Shedd Aquarium is right out there. Since we got the membership in the winter, why not take them to go to see the fishes! The kids were so happy with this idea and they took their cherrio’s with them to go to pretend to feed the fishes!
