Thanks for your comment, I would think from October it might go down for the winter, but everyone is saying the rental market is going strong for the next a couple of years, you can see that the Magellan is building a new rental building at the Lake Shore East neighborhood.

It makes sense that the rental prices would go up for Aug 1, but when do you think they’ll start to go back down Sept 1/Oct 1?

I would be very careful of this building?? Very dangerous fire escape options could leave you locked in the stairwell?? Also homeless can enter the building and stay in the egress stairwell. No screens on windows so anything can enter you apartment bugs,rats,birds??

I hear the Grand Market on the lower level of 400 East Randolph (Outer Drive East) is now closed and the Parkshore Market is getting some delivery business from the building.

The New Eastside neighbors (including Regatta, Chandler, Lancaster, 195, 175, 155, 400) are still hoping for comfortable access during inclement weather via the “pedestrian employee entrance” on Lower Field Drive (across from the entrance to Harbor Parking Garage). Jewel is by far the best in the city with prices and selection, the Halstead store close to downtown (free convenient parking) is HUGE and has amazing deals. What downtown Chicago doesn’t need is another upscale grocery store to compete with the likes of Fox & Obel,

I lived on the 25th floor with a simalar view about 8 years ago. Work and the economy made me leave Chicagoland, but, I think that will always be the coolest place I have ever lived.

Walk to the park, work, museums and a bus to the miracle mile. It really doesn’t get much better than that.
